Tunmise Adeleye (DE Texas A+M transfer to Texas State)

Well...it's not like negative recruiting is a new thing for OSU, and look where we are at now.
Seems to me negative recruiting worked alot better in the days before the explosion of social media. Recruits..and maybe society as a whole seemed so much more naive in a worldly sense back then. Nowadays if a recruit hears something negative about a depth chart, whether an opposing coach plays freshmen, or really anything else negative he knows the truth is only a click away.

Unlikely.

Being the top team just means everyone else knows who to negatively recruit.

And few schools encourage other teams to up their “recruiting” efforts more than Ohio State.

Both these factors x10 in the south.

You make it seem like a bad thing almost to be the perceived favorite. I’ll take that spot all day.

As they say, only the lead dog on the sled team has a good view.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or what you mean exactly but if you are saying you have a gut feeling he will choose the good guys, I do as well for some reason. Not sure why but I’ve always had him as a very real possibility.

In fact I can see him, JT and Malone to round out an unreal 5 man D Line haul.

But like I said, people who would know continue to say Ohio State is right at the top.

Last night was yet another example of something that doesn’t fit the mold of the guys they’ve been bringing in. Something, in my opinion, continues to just not feel right.
Ahhh. Gotcha.

Oh well. The D Line class will be stacked regardless.

The benefits of recruiting way above the bar.

I was listening to Birm's latest podcast today and Adeleye's recruitment came up. Birm says although he's listed at 6'3 or 4 he's really a few inches shorter. The OSU coaches don't know if at that height and body he'll be able to excel at end which is where he wants to be....could this be the 'something' that doesn't fit?
