Let's hope that wasn't the blueprint. Watson was a frequent target, but theoretically there's 1-2 Metellus' behind him, which worked out well.
With their New England focused recruiting strategy, I think they'll be lucky to have guys as good as Metellus going forward. All of these Spaulding Smalls they've been picking up are going to get nothing and like it.

Safety was a rare bright spot in the last class. Of course they still haven't really bothered getting dt or QB play. The latter requires NYC invitation level play. They've gone with northwestern"s backup QB play instead.

It's a classic reverse of their overall student recruiting strategy. Now, they're getting kids to actually choose them over Dartmouth, Bowdoin and Colby!

Turns Out, Buckeye Fans Aren’t Interested In Losing To Michigan, Even Hypothetically

19-11-30-FB-2022-TO.jpg

So there I was, just minding my own business on a Friday afternoon, taking part in a YouTube session talking Ohio State football with Mark Rogers of MarkRogersTV, Steve Helwagen of Bucknuts, and Kevin Noon of Buckeye Grove, when I happened to tweet out this innocent little Twitter poll.

“Buckeye fans, would you accept a loss right now to Michigan this year if it meant that the season would take place normally with no alterations?”

With the uncertain nature of the coronavirus over the next few months, there are already discussions about the impact that this could have on the college football season.

Athletic directors around the country are losing sleep over the possibilities.

Buckeye fans, however, are willing to roll the dice.

I thought in this current era of giving and brotherhood, I would ask this simple little question and allow the people to show their compassion to the human race.

Even if it was just hypothetical.

It turns out, however, the even hypothetically, Ohio State fans don’t really have any compassion when it comes to Michigan.

And as was replied to me on our message board, “There are no stupid questions, just stupid people with questions.”

Just the thought of losing to Michigan pretty much makes any scenario a no go, as evidenced by the 3,500 or so fans taking part in the poll below, with around 90% of them saying, “No thanks.”

Mommy and Daddy aren't dropping 80 grand a year for a degree when Michigan will give it to them for 35.

OOS tuition at tsun is ridiculous, $49,350 this year (+ room and board). And on top of that, they view almost all their oos students as cash cows and offer very little aid unless you are that one in a hundred student who really does have high Ivy stats. So, an average student is going to almost certainly have a much lower net sticker price at Dartmouth or Northwestern or Colby than at tsun.

Definitely at Dartmouth, have a friends kid who goes to Dartmouth (couldn’t get into Miami, Ohio). The kid is a smart kid without a doubt, but she’s no Mike DeWine (famous Miami grad). They are lower middle class and hardly pay a dime for her to go.

Watched the 2018 game (1 hour version) on BTN yesterday. I had forgotten about the dreadful Martell plays at the end of the first half and on the second drive in the second half. Everybody in the stadium knew what was coming, and the plays never broke the line of scrimmage inside the tsun 5. We left 8 points on the board right there. I really wanted 70.
