Ah, yes, the unmistakable stink of a fan of an also ran... "In fairness, some imaginary reality exists where what actually happened shouldn't have happened and therefore my team won"

AND

"the one specific event that took place in imaginary reality covers a large span of time/multiple events in the real world"

i.e. Barrett was down--->tsun should have won--->the last 20 years of ass kicking's don't really matter or never happened

see Penn State "it was an impactful call", visiting Oklahoma moron fan "the second game of the 2 year series is the only one that means anything. Oklahoma won that game and therefore is better than OSU for all time"

etc etc etc

The-Ozone Rewind: Former Wolverines Incorrectly Excited About Urban Meyer Hire

The best part about it for me is that that rivalry and the way people look at it will go back to the days of old,” said former Ohioan Charles Woodson.

“To me it just brings the excitement of having Urban Meyer at Ohio State, having Brady Hoke back here at Michigan, and having our game once again have significance.”

“I’m all for it,” Woodson continued. “I think they’ll be good under Coach Meyer. But we’ve got a great coach. I’m telling you, it’s only going to get better.”

While Hutchinson and Woodson were quite diplomatic about their answers, Jake Long’s thoughts were perfectly emblematic of the tone that the Wolverines had when his class was going 0-4 against Ohio State.

“Honestly, I don’t care what they do,” he said. “I don’t care who they bring in or what they do. I believe in our coaches, I believe in Coach Hoke, I believe in the players that they are going to bring in.

“We turned it around last year getting that win. I know it was a long time, but we’re on the right path and we’re gonna bring in the guys and it’s gonna be an emphasis again and we’ll get back on that winning track.”

I feel like we're doing a disservice to all the shit we talked about RichRod by now saying they fired him too early and he was kinda good. He was NOT kinda good....at all. They fired him too early bc I still wish he was there bumbling around fucking things up.....not bc I think he was about to turn a corner.

Ehh i think he was better than Hoke... so i dont wish he was still there. A lot more to hate about Hoke and Hairball too, so im good with the timing.

His offensive scheme was ok, the problem(s) were that the dumb fucker continued to recruit WVU level talent at tsun and like most scheme coaches gave less than a fuck about defense or special teams.

Other than that he was about to unleash dominance on the B1G

and never let it be forgotten that Rich Rod's fuckery left behind a roster full of 3 star slot dots and no pass first QB's. Brady Hoke had to convert back to a pro style team from that.

Jim Kardashian was handed a reasonably talented roster full of guys that actually fit his offense.....and did exactly dick with it.

He is tied with Rich Rod for the most over hyped and under performing of the lot imo.

He cared about D ... sort of... i guess better to say he had a sidekick for many years who cared about D for him. Same guy at WVU and AZ.
But Michigan man wouldnt allow him to hire a 335 guy ... even though now CFB has universally gone to a pseudo 425/335 scheme using hybrid OLB/DB and OLB/DE positions. Peppers played that position for Hairball.
So they forced him to hire a 43 guy, and then he still attempted to play 335.
I dont think that D was going to work 10yrs ago in Big, but the scUM politics mucked it up even more by sabotaging him.
Reliving scUM schadenfreude never gets old.

I agree and so does the O zone

The-Ozone Rewind: Kyle Kalis Explains Flip From Ohio State to Michigan

Joey-Bosa-2015-Michigan-1170x780.jpg

“I can’t go (to Ohio State) and take penalties for something I never did,” Kyle Kalis told ESPN.........“Ohio State is a great program. I’m just not sure how long it will take them to recover. I want a solid, grounded coaching staff with a safe environment where there aren’t such tough questions.”

That certainly would not have been Michigan a year ago, but new Head Coach Brady Hoke has apparently done a masterful job persuading Kalis to leave his home state despite heavy pressure from the community.

“He is the type of guy I want to play for,” Kalis said.

“He has an incredible amount of passion.”
