RichRod at least tried to modernize their offense, which Hoke and Harbaugh promptly brought back into the Stone Age. RichRod was also an outsider who didn't buy into the Michigan Man bullshit that has caused the program to wallow in entitlement and false accomplishment for decades. From that monument to failure you have two distinct classes. Those who at least did a little something, Llllllloyd and Hoke, and those who did exactly dick which would be, of course, Rich Rod and Harbaugh.
I feel it my duty to remind the DFBIA that Hoke > Harbaugh.

RichRod could've been their Cooper if they'd given him enough time, the painful medicine that might've cured the program for the long term. Good thing they canned him after three years and got back to business as usual.
I feel like we're doing a disservice to all the shit we talked about RichRod by now saying they fired him too early and he was kinda good. He was NOT kinda good....at all. They fired him too early bc I still wish he was there bumbling around fucking things up.....not bc I think he was about to turn a corner.
Well, he seems to have broken Sparty's secret code and made them the second best team in the Big Ten. Lost his chance to be in the final four in a game in which his offense scored 39 points. You usually don't lose games in which your offense scores 39 points.I still think they fired RichRod a year too early. 3 wins to 5 wins to 7 wins. Who knows what he would have done with one more year? Hoke took them to something like 11 wins and a Sugar Bowl win. Then he drove them into the curb.
I'm not saying that RichRod would have won a conference championship, had he been given more chances. Calling him their "Cooper" is probably the best wait of saying it: he may have brought them out from 4th best in the division to 2nd-3rd best in the division. Then again, he got fired from Arizona, so who knows?

Only once - and the 39 points all came on field goals.Has a team ever won a game in which it scores 39 points, while at the same time giving up 62?
