After “battling” head-to-head with Ohio State (and others) for C.J. Stroud and hosting him on an official visit this past weekend, Andrew Ellis is reporting Michigan has immediately moved on to this guy.

An unranked player with offers from Massachusetts, Fordham, Albany, Buffalo, Central Connecticut State, and Kent State.

The QB whisperer continues to crush it.
Not that this means a damned thing in reality, but I thought it funny

On what fuckin theory would that bag of vinegar and water be eligible for a 5th year?

Shea only played in 3 games as a true freshman. By today's current standards he could be redshirted.

Seems worth his while if he wishes to pursue it.
Seems he would argue that under the current red shirt rules he would have another year. I say go for it. Always good to see guys with a drive to pick up another l.

I cannot imagine the NCAA opening up that can of worms. Well.. it's the NCAA, so, I guess I can... still... should we go back and say Denzel Ward gets to play an extra game for Ohio State because his targeting against MD wouldn't be called today (setting aside that it shouldn't have been called, or upheld, in the first place).

Let's look at Jonathan Cooper, Tyreke Smith, and Zack Harrison:

The recent QB recruit from New Mexico that became a TE worked out - I happily remember a couple of Zach Gentry's drops in the 62-39 beatdown last year.
That was a 6'6 TE who was told he would be groomed as the next QB but was a TE after all.

Speaking of that, I'd love to see a stat for how far below their average opposing TEs have been vs Werner.
