Good list, but let's make sure we also pass them in conference championships.
Then they can QTFS.

The in-fighting among the fan base is getting pretty hilarious.

You would think. But, truly, their only effective play to this point is having Collins run downfield and chcking it in his general direction. Patterson is just a terrible QB. And the best part is that the DFBIA is bewildered that he isn't lighting up the B1G. I keep seeing them (and the media) trying to paint him as some great QB at mississippi. Lets look at the numbers:
In 2016, his true frosh season, he completed 54.5% of his 132 passes in 3 games, for 880 yards (6.7 y/a), 6 TD and 3 INT for a 121.0 QBR. His three oppnents: mediocre aTm, Vandy and Miss St. He was an okay runner in those 3 games, logging 169 yards on 41 attempts (4.1 ypr).
In 2017, as a SO, he completed 63.8% of his 260 attempts, for 2259 yards (8.7 y/a), 17 TD and 9 INT for a 151.5 QBR across 7 games. 9 INT in 7 games is a little alarming, but the rest of the numbers look pretty good, yes? Well, 1632 yards, 15 TD, 4 INT of that was logged in a 4 game stretch against such powerhouses as South Alabama (429, 4/0), Tennessee Martin (489, 5/1), 5-7 California (363, 2/3) and 5-7 Vandy (351, 4/0). In the other 3 games against Alabama, Auburn and LSU, he completed 56.3% of his 103 passes for 627 yards (6.1 y/a), 2 TD and 5 INT.
It's obvious that most QBs play better against the stiffs and probably drop off a bit against the better teams on their scheduled. But he fell off a cliff against any decent teams he played. He also was supposed to be pretty good with his legs and showed flashes of that as a frosh, but by year two, he totalled -16 yards rushing on 47 attempts, including 17 attempts for -28 yards against the 3 good teams he played.
As usual, the DFBIA just listened to the idiot media and didn't bother to do any homework on their new savior. BP pointed all of the above out when the hype began, and guess how his career has played out...
I can’t stop watching this. It’s interesting that the two programs closest to the Big 2 built up wins outside the Big10.Pretty awesome graphic posted in today's skull session. (someone smarter than me will have to embed it, if possible).

Watching Illinois over the years is like watching a well struck wedge backspin.
