True! I was just expressing my hope for them to have as many losses as possible. My point was more "we won't have a conference loss so even if The Game is their only loss they still won't be co-champs of the division."

I know this is complete "who gives a shit" territory, but I'd rank Purdue and Northwestern above Illinois.
NW yes, but PU got beat by a team that then got rolled 77-6. I’d put them at a solid #13 for this weekI know this is complete "who gives a shit" territory, but I'd rank Purdue and Northwestern above Illinois.
The fanbase is in full spin mode after Saturday’s pillow fight..
“Yeah, because Army loses a lot of games...”
Well, since you said something... Army has won 30 games in a three year (and two week) span. It took Army over EIGHT seasons prior to that to reach 30 wins. So I think we can stop pretending it’s 1948 and everyone should be impressed by an Army-Michigan matchup.
Also: for the record, Ohio State beat an ACTUAL 10-3 Army team 38-7, not using the team’s record from the year before to fluff that win up a bit.....
I can respect a guy that's willing to do some reshuffling... polls have always struck me as way too static and incremental.
To be fair, Army has been pretty decent of late. A top25 kind of team. We didnt exactly light up Navy some years ago when they were doing well, either.
But they're still a 1 dimensional Service Academy. No top 10 team should struggle with them... let alone come from behind, dodge a game-winning FG miss, and take 2 overtimes.
The real worrying part has to be that their offense couldnt get anything going against an undersized Service Academy.
You know they'll always get some results with triple option. It's a gamelong battle of adversity... but if your O is struggling against an option team's D ... you got issues.
Their new hero, a frosh RB, took 30 fucking carries to get to 100 yards... against an undersized Service Academy... 30 fucking carries for Christ’s sake.
