Define controversy.

Could controversy be a situation created when taking a QB who currently has a serious injury but still has an NFL job, and replacing him with a guy who currently is 100% healthy and can’t land an NFL job?

Could controversy be, being successful in the NFL, reaching the NFC title game in his first three years with the 49ers and still being run out of town by his own employer?

No. That’s not controversy. That just sounds like the coach is a fucking intolerable idiot.
