Eh, those are just threads started by posters over there. I'm more interested in what Brian, who's seemingly the lead propagandist for all things Harbaugh, has to say. Of course, true to his typical approach when things get tough for Harbaugh/scUM, he hasn't surfaced. After all, who could forget this lovely hide-in-your-shell moment:

More perspective...current rankings of all B1G schools per 247:

Visual thinkers will find a graph useful to illustrate how Michigan is at the head of the Little 12.

The funniest thing is he was the EXACT same way with dickrod. No matter how bad it got, it was GONNA get better , but if it didn't it was somebody else's fault and the fans were idiots for expecting/demanding more than the crap they were getting.

I’ve fap’d so much to this thread in the last 24 hours it’s taken 3 IV bottles to re-hydrate.
Grab some Gatorade...

His predecessor, Brady Hoke, followed the exact same pattern: a sluggish start after the coaching change (30th in 2011), followed by two big years (sixth and fourth), followed by a big fade (20th in 2014). The Wolverines also faded on the field, dropping to 5-7 in Hoke’s fourth year. He did not get a fifth.

Harbaugh’s on-field results also have been similar to Hoke’s. The Wolverines slipped from back-to-back 10-3 seasons to 8-5 in 2017. Harbaugh has won two more games than Hoke did through three seasons, but Hoke also finished higher than third in his division — twice, in fact.

I haven't read MgoBlog in ages but yesterday was too good a day to pass up. I saw a few references to having an OT coach and an interior OL coach? Do they really divide that up? Why? Don't you evaluate good OLs by how well they work together, as a unit? Things like combo blocks, passing DL off when they stunt, etc. are all dependent on working together. How the hell do they expect it to work when, presumably, the OTs and interior OL are not in the same meeting room? Seems bizarre.

TL:biggrin:R - Michigan's OL is set-up to fail by having 2 coaches.

It also says something about
It also says something about how well he’s doing that an 8-5 season with the youngest team in America and you lose both your top WR and starting QB is a reason for people to scream at the top of their lungs. At the end of the day, all things considered, if the floor for a Harbaugh coached team is 8-5, I’m okay with that.

If they have too 8 classes in back to back years. A slide down to a top 20 class isn’t a huge deal, especially when the next class is looking like an early bet to be top 10 as well.

People need to just relax and look at the bigger picture here.

 a 8-5 season says something about "how well" Harbaugh is doing......give me some of that Kool-Aid.

Dude's optimistic; I'll give him that.

Fair enough. What he fails to recognize however, is that 10-3 seems to be the ceiling for a Harbaugh coached team. If he, and the rest of the dfbia, is also ok with that, so am I!
I told some people that 10 wins is his ceiling....and that I don't expect him to hit it very often without the help of a cake schedule. You would have thought I told them Michigan would never win another game with the way they jumped on me.

There's the major difference between a pretender program like scUM and a legitimate national power like tOSU; their "rebuilding" years result in an 8-5 finish with losses to their rivals and a bowl collapse. Ours see us go 11-2, beating them, and a playoff appearance. And that was with the handicap of an offensive coordinator gaggle-fuck. That comes down to recruiting. We load up on players that step in and perform at high levels. They get kids that step in and flail around, losing every game of importance. Given the way recruiting has gone and continues to go, no reason to expect that to change. Even their highly rated 2016-17 classes were built mainly on quantity over quality. The difference in average star-rating is significant. And the way the bungled their 2018 class is going to have a significant impact down the road.
