So, are we saying that a 5 loss season, including losing to your rival once again, having the embarrassment of being your conference's only bowl loss, and finishing with one of the worst recruiting classes for the program in some time isn't a good return on investment for the thousands of dollars the university shelled out to send these chuckle heads to Europe....

I'm looking forward to next
I'm looking forward to next season being epic. We will have the talent to win a National Championship but will the development of the O line and Offensive playcalling be up to the task? IDK .

I have noticed a couple of things though . . .

It seems that the big powerhouse schools are going after Michigan in particular. Every recruit we identify first, (Reese, Petit Ferer, Friday, etc.) Bama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, etc. are going after hard. It's almost like if we keep Michigan from getting their players and we get our recruits, they wind up with a shitty recruiting class ranking (no disrespect to the guys we did get).

Not only are they going after our targets, but they are trying to hire away our coaches as well. "It's a great plan Batman, but will it actually work????"

As someone who hasn't spent very much of their life in the Mid-west, I feel like "Sun Surf Cali" is the Michigan Man you gigglefucks warn your children about. He's probably my #2 guy right now behind "Arb lover."
The Sandusky enabler stays. LOL sucks for them. Schiano's a stain that ohio just can't wash off.
It's time to start paying like everyone else. We have more money.
Did we stop recruiting him? It's hard to imagine someone choosing South Bend over Ann Arbor. Of course I am much older with more life experience.
Have to give Urban credit. Anytime you can get a Florida kid to move to the shittiest state in America and a weak university for at least 3 years...that is worth props.
It's somehow apropos. Ohio and OSU are shitty. The football program is good however.
Why would Urban leave? He was given the keys to a Rolls Royce already washed and gassed up. He walked into way more talent than other B1G teams.

Why would he attempt a true rebuild for the first time?

Also - there's no way he's going to risk the NFL as he would not have a clear talent advantage there. He would most likely fail like Saban.

All that being said he's got an easy job; no reason to leave.
I mean, OSU had won or tied for first the in the B1G 6 of the previous 7 years before his arrival. Can you imagine Harbaugh walking into that?
