You can feel safe betting every dollar you have ever earned that DFBIA is looking no further than that he's a former head coach. Ohio State has a couple former head coaches, so having former head coaches must be good. Works for Bama too... you know....

So... he simply must be good if he was once an HC.

I also think there’s a Rodriguez factor going on as well. “People know who this guy is, they recognize his name, therefore this is a big splash hire for us!”
