Bill Lucas
Assistant Coach
I'm not sure I get the point of posting that article. It's about two Ohio State players.

...and they lose their entire team.
Two years in and Brady Hoke arguably has a more accomplished record than Harbaugh.
ttun led iowa with 5 seconds to go in the game. they lost.
ttun led ohio state with 5 seconds to go in the game. they lost.
ttun led florida state with 40 seconds to go in the game. they lost.

Dom Brown with a 5 year 1.4m per year contract. Must say, good move by them and I'd like to see us pay our assistants more to be honest.
We may be able to lock Schiano up with a 1.5m contract for a few years. Instead we will pay him 700k a year (which I would die for) and he will take a head coaching job at Memphis or some place similar for 2m a year. If we paid our prime assistants they'll stay until they get a 4m contract from a Institute at the level of a Wisconsin or a team like Georgia.
We make the most revenue I believe in college football and we should be investing in the program that makes it all possible. Increase our recruiting budget and pay our assistants!
OR you just don't have a budget lol...They operate with a budget for assistant coaches like anyone else. If one gets a huge chunk of that pool then there is less for the others so maybe Urban goes with a depth philosophy? No idea, just speculating.
OR you just don't have a budget lol...
You put regular fuel on a Mercedes or you put the best fuel in? The best.
They can pay whatever they want for assistant. The higher we pay the more likely we are to have someone extraordinary stay a lengthy amount of time
