I'm not sure he can though... nobody is buying what he's selling, and seems like he's rubbed a few people the wrong way too.
He's clearly a very good Xs and Os coach, but the roster left by Hoke is awash with losers. And no QB. The East is stacked. They could get boat raced by MSU and OSU... PSU won't be a pushover, Maryland and Rutgers essentially have the same talent level. Indiana is the only given cupcake. They could split the West draw of NW and Minny too.
And if Harbaugh doesn't get at least 9 wins -- if not 10 -- this year... what 4 and 5 stars are going to come out of the woodwork for him? The silence after he was hired was deafening despite all the hype... and it could get worse (with recruiting at least) before it gets better?

He's pulled a few stars in recently. All it takes is a couple of kids who buy into the playing time and bring a sleeping giant back to life angles.

Overall I think we will see 2 Wrs, 1 TE, 2 LBers and 2 DL and maybe a couple current commits, de commit. Numbers 1-4 & 6 would absolutely make this class an A+ and Michigan is in the top spot or top 2 for all of them!

I think you're on to something. But your list is missing Jonathan Jones who is a priority for this staff.

And some of the guys on that list are silent commits.

(To the naysayers...yes, I know what happened with Khalid Kareem. But Jabrill Peppers was also a silent commit. Stay positive. As a friend on another board keeps saying...WE COMIN'!)
