ttun Shenanigans and Arguments (2015 official thread)

Signing day hasn't happened yet, so at this point we don't know.

Of the 12 commits Urb picked up after he was hired, how many were instant vs how many were signing day announcements? and how many were commits of other teams? Just curious.
I can't access scout at work, but it was a pretty steady diet of commits leading up to signing day, including several early on IIRC. He flipped a few kids from other teams-- Noah Spence, Armani Reeves, Tommy Schutt...actually, he poached those guys from the pedtards, which makes it even more awesome. He also flipped a DL from MSU who has since transferred, and got Bri'onte Dunn back from the verge of a scUM commitment. His recruiting tear was one of the recruiting stories of the 2012 stretch run.

Maybe The Harbrau™ can go on a similar run, but the buzz isn't there at the moment. I will say, he'd be smart to bank some scholarships instead of going the Hoke route and loading up on a bunch of putzes just to fill the class. I think some of that dead weight from his 2011 class played a big role in your horrific run the past couple of years.

Those who missed it, Snoop's instagram photo with son Cordell, a four-star WR out of Vegas:

There are so many things wrong with this picture, I wouldn't know where to start...

A player on a college team whose father is a guhzillionaire rapper/celebrity? No, I can't imagine any possible way that could end badly.
Anyway, tsun might want to take cautionary note of the fact that as far as Snoop is concerned, they're just a doggie snack.

Pretty clear who becomes the top dog in that situation.

I watched about 3 min. of the show about snoop and his son, and his son said something to the effect of: I didn't want to play football, but my dad forced me to.

And that's just no fun at all. Might explain why Dad is No. 1 in the picture, instead of the person being recruited to play. Well, it's a wealthy family.
They should be able to afford the years and years of therapy. (Wasn't there an old movie about a boxer who actually wanted to be a violinist?)

Seems like the kind of situation where you arrange to get yourself injured so you have an excuse to drop out.

A kid who's entitled because of what his father did.

Isn't there a law that says he has to go to M*ch*gan?

I mean, it's what they do. It's who they are.
The hard working famous sons seem to end up in Domer land these days (Corey/David Robinson, Torii Hunter Sr/Jr, Cris/Austin Collingsworth, etc)
