scUM goes for 230 yards of total offense and 23 points (4 of which were a gift from officials too incompetent to blow a whistle)

They had 150 yards of kick returns

I've been saying it all year, their offense is much worse than people think and the defense is good, not great.

Here is the big thing they should be worried about; if they get behind a couple of scores and have to throw. They simply are not built for it.

scUM is 90th in total offense (367.6 ypg) and 72nd in scoring offense (28.6 ppg).

Jake Ruddock is 93rd in passing efficiency with a rating of 119.9. Baylor's Seth Russell leads the nation with a rating of 210.0.

and BTW, Iowa gave up 10 more points to Northwestern (on the road) than the ZOMG 85 Bears!!!ELEVENTY!! scUM defense did.

I can't call that a "coaching" deficiency. Their ST's were playing exceptionally well. That was just a kid panicking in a moment of adversity. How do you fix that? Don't recruit mental midgets.
