ttun Shenanigans and Arguments (2015 official thread)

As far as the "real test" posed by Northwestern, they are as bad offensively as everyone else scUM has played to date.

That game will only tell us who found a way to win an offensive crap fest.

scUM opponents national rank points per play (out of 128)

Utah #9 (Oregon game inflating the hell out of that)
Oregon State# 74
UNLV# 120
BYU#80
Maryland#106

Next week Northwestern#103

So they have played one offense with a pulse and gave up 24 points in a loss to them.

scUM D is solid, jury still out on great

MSU will be the first legit offense they play, we will know more then

Not sure if this was reported a month ago.

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2015/09/ol_logan_tuley-tillman_dismiss.html

OL Logan Tuley-Tillman dismissed from Michigan football team

"Logan Tuley-Tillman has been dismissed from the football team for conduct unacceptable for a Michigan student athlete," Harbaugh said in the statement.

(This was that cockbag that infamously set his OSU recruitment letter on fire and posted it on Twitter a few years ago. )

 I always love a good opportunity to use this meme

seriously though, you do realize this is over a month old, right?

The good news for tsun fans is that they are almost back to the point where a home game against Northwestern isn't a big game.
Honestly, they haven't shut out a good offense, but damnit shutting people out isn't easy. It makes the second half easier because you just won the mental game and put the offense on edge. It takes a really good coach to get his offense to forget that they are out of rhythm and turn it around in the second half. They have also scored on some decent defenses. No, wait they have scored on one good defense, Northwestern. They beat a very beatable MSU and I'll give him some credit for the quick turnaround. Bah, they get the bucks and sparty at home, this first season set up well for him. I'll thank the same B1G scheduling gods that put MSU and ttun back to back.

At the beginning of the season I was unhappy that the Sparty & tun games were back to back, but I now I think it's a very good thing for this team. They are obviously having a hard time getting motivated for games against inferior opponents. And Urban has said multiple times that you don't want to peak too early (which tun may be doing btw.) Now they have time to work everything out and get everything pointed in the right direction and on November 20th it's time to go win 5 big games in a row.
