Really, Dakich has a son that goes to that place. I guess he probably the would not be welcome at IU or Purdue so maybe his choices got narrowed down by default. I like Dan doing the color commentary. His basketball IQ is off the charts but sometimes he has a hard time communicating with his audience

I love hearing Dakich's analysis for much the same reason I listen to Johnny Miller on golf -- neither one of them pulls any punches. Miller calls a crappy golf shot what it is, unlike other analysts. Dakich is very similar.

Can't be easy for his kid, though.

This week, in 1954, I listened to my first Ohio State basketball game as a two-day old. Ohio State beat TSUN 97-77.
