DZ83CK;1809227; said:I have to say, I rewatched some clips of the BTN's "Journey 2010" series yesterday, and I kind of felt bad seeing video of that UM locker room after they lost to MSU on a last-second shot - that was a rough locker room scene. DeShawn Sims was sitting there saying he didn't want to play basketball anymore. Beilein was telling them to be disappointed, but not discouraged. It was a disturbing scene.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's basketball head coach John Beilein announced today (Thursday, Nov. 11) the signing of point guard Trey Burke (Columbus, Ohio/Northland H.S.) to a National Letter of Intent during the early fall signing period.
"In Trey Burke we are adding a proven winner and floor general to our basketball program," said Beilein. "He combines a competitive spirit, quickness and poise on the court to provide leadership, and his skill set allows him to impact the game as a passer, a scorer and a shooter."
Burke has prepped at Northland High School in Columbus, Ohio, for the last three years, helping the Vikings to a 71-3 record during that span with three straight undefeated (14-0) Columbus City North titles. As a sophomore Burke, who averaged 10.0 points and 8.0 assists, was part of Northland's OHSAA Division I State championship run, closing the season with a 27-1 record.
Last season, Burke averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 assists and 2.6 steals per game, guiding the Vikings to a 23-1 record, a No. 2 final ranking by the Associated Press Ohio High School Poll and a regional final appearance in the state playoffs. Burke was named Division I All-Ohio honorable mention, All-Central District Division I second team and All-Metro second team.

buckeyesin07;1809398; said:. Whose fault is that, considering he's been there for 3-4 years now? I see you're now using football excuses for basketball. Is this Carr's fault too?
