Funny how UM goes on a 3 game winning streak against the likes of Northwestern, Penn State and Indiana, and all of a sudden, the guys at mgoblog are talking NCAA tournament. 
With their final five games being
at Illinois
at Iowa
vs. Wisconsin
at Minnesota
vs Michigan St.
I could realistically see them going 0-5. UM should be elated with going 2-3 over that stretch, which would still put them at 18-13 overall and 8-10 in conference, and certainly will not get them into the tournament.

they won more games than I gave them credit for at the beginning of the season. Probably just enough to keep Beilien around another year. Which I can't say is great news.

even if they hit the 20 game win mark, I don't really see any "great" wins that would put them over the bubble. They'll probably need to win the tourny, or at least make it to the finals to get in.

The one year in recent memory they actually beat Sparty in hoops and Sparty is so bad it won't really help scUM on their tournament resume.

scUM hoopsters are 3 for 12 from behind the arc (out of 20 total shots) and getting a number 6 worked up on them in Iowa city.

They are a pussy team. Anybody willing to score in the paint can easily whoop their pansy asses. The similarity to the dickrod football teams in staggering. WV might be my second favorite state after the number they've done on those programs.
