ttun basketball (Juwan out, Dusty May in)

It has been almost 20 years since UM had a coach that won hoops COY. About the same timespan between conference titles for them before 2012.

The only funny part about UM finally finding a really good hoops coach is they didn't realize he was a keeper until he was 60. Beilein is a good coach but he's already 61, not a ton of coaching tread left on those tires. Matta would have 15 more seasons before he reaches the age that Beilein has right now.

great season.......really enjoyed it. Hopefully they close it out right and wipe the floor with Douche Crean on Saturday. I remember thinking how dumb Indiana looked last year when they cut down the nets on the B1G championship after losing the game.

I still don't think they go much further than a Sweet 16 in the tourny. But they seem to be clicking at the right time.

Regardless, great season.

Reports that Stauskas is entering the draft, even though he's claiming not to have made a decision yet.

All signs point to him being gone. No reports yet about Robinson or McGary, but you'd have to think they'd be crazy to return to Michigan after this past season.

McGary barely played this year. He may have to come back if he wants to be a high draft pick considering how deep this draft is.

McGary made a huge mistake in not coming out last year. He took some bad advice (not sure if it was from Beilein or not). Given that he'll turn 22 this June (as an aside, I'm not sure how it's even possible for a true sophomore to be that old), it seems he's better off not spending another entire year in college.

The consensus looks like Stauskas being taken anywhere from 12-16 in the first round with McGary and Robinson being taken early in the second round. My guess is that 2/3 go.
If I were drafting late in the first, and your medical team clears McGary, I would take a flyer on him. I could see around 25. Early second is probably about right for Robinson. Probably should stay, MAYBE a light bulb turns on, but if he doesn't think he can be anything more than he already is, might as well go.

You guys must have seen a different McGary than I did. Same with Stauskas. These aren't NBA players. If the goal is to get paid as soon as possible.....sure make some money of idiot NBA GMs. But neither of them are lasting very long in the NBA at all.
