One of you fellow posters had a beautiful link - had to do with Meatchicken crying the blues about the resurgence of OSU sports. Talked about how OSU has their football team spooked, pounded them in basketball, got a split when their hockey team was waaaaay better than outs, and with the recruiting class that Thad has coming in, it looks bleak for the future. They don't even speak about our dominance in baseball, gymnastics, golf (mens and womens), or fencing. Not so sure about swimming, or track.

The only thing that comes close (to me) to seeing the excellence of the Buckeyes both on and off the field, is hearing Meatchicken crying the blues!

Does anyone have any good web sites on the Blue (as in Maize and blue, or more aptly 'Crying the Blues) boards that any or all of us could lurk on and chuckle a bit?

Thanks.

http://umgoblue.com/ is excellent notwithstanding the obligatory Michigan arrogance and their erroneous belief that they are somehow the "victors" even though they have only won half a national championship in the past fifty years. I'm sure all those "championships" before the Great War were legendary.

But I digress...

Tressel is reviled on the site, which makes me feel all fuzzy on the inside. They have funny names for him like "St. James of the Sweater-vest" and the like. They are also big into the OSU is cheating garbage, which is to be expected as well.

All in all, if one reads through the lines you can tell that the NC in 2002, the recent successes against them, and the the other BCS victories are getting to them.

Quality reading...

Thanks Aesculus - that's the one I was looking for. Tremendously enjoyed hearing a Meatchicken fan caterwhaling about how OSU is on the rise, while Meatchicken is getting pounded and the fortunes are not looking as rosy.

I believe they have larger blinders on that we Buckeye fanatics do, especially when you realize what we see is reality, and what they see is perceived reality........

Anyone else got any good sites, or good stories they've read about the Meatchicken tears (Tressel being 5-1 ((halfway to Coop's record)), Matta's stupendous recruiting class, baseball team sweeping four from them ((oops, that's this week end)), etc.). I don't care if it's the CHESS team.

Thanks again,

Thanks Mili - would you believe........I'm counting 2006 Meatchicken game already????? Or shouldn't count my (meat)chickens before they hatch?

I guess 2-10-1 still sticks in my craw. Michigan is sniveling and they're only 1-4.

:oh: :wink2: :io:

All true. But one of the things that strike me the most is how much respect they have for TS. There is a poll asking who the best QB in the Big 10 is, and TS comes in as the overwhelming favorite.
