the odds are slim, but the chances usually skyrocket when someone spouts off with a silly quote. the whole karma thing and whatnot.

If karma doles out punishment in relation to the volume of silliness spouted by a group, tsun fans might want to cover their eyes for about a decade or so.

holy smokes. i thought that there was no way that scum gave up 35 first downs to indiana. i thought that you were just exaggerating for effect. so, i checked the game's box score.

35 first downs? that is the most pathetic stat i think i've ever come across. :slappy:

I know. It's so bad that you can't even make it up. But there it is. 35 first downs.

Here was my quote that you apparently take issue with:

"a close game with IU for the second year in a row (insert laughter here)."

Serious question--just what do you find "silly" about that? Are you disputing that UM's games with Indiana were close this year and last? Or do you find it "silly" that I'm laughing at UM for having a tough time with Indiana last year, you know, that powerhouse football program that went a whopping 1-7 in conference?

simply pointing out that if for some reason you guys struggle i will laugh.

like someone else said, it's a message board. i'm here for silly bollocks and time wasting.

Defensively, Bassett has Indiana most closely ranked to Ohio University. Illinois, by the way, is ranked about the same as Notre Dame and UConn, for comparisons to TSUN schedule.

So, if Pryor is healthy, then maybe Ohio State puts up 38-42. If Pryor's injury is a bit problematic, then, given the injuries on defense, I suspect that Ohio State running backs are gonna love this one.

So I was wrong, sue me. I'm sure you along with everybody on this board has been wrong about football before and will again.

Michigan State played well and deserved the win. Like I said, those two picks early hurt Michigan and missing a wide open Stonum hurt as well. Denard still had 300 yards of total offense and those first 2 picks were all on him. That 3rd pick....well that was flat out horrible.

Have a nice day.

actually, i've never been wrong about football.

but, buddy, your reference points were umass, indiana, and bowling green. how could anyone think that michigan state's defense would be as porous as those? of course msu would slow down your offense. surely you watched msu before today, right?

denard did have a bad game. or did he? or did he have a normal game against a team with an actual defense? i think you're going to find out the next two months that denard's performances will be a far departure from the first five weeks. i see more performances just like today's.
