Tennessee is better than...

Yeah, I said it. Tennessee is better. It was obvious at the outset that Michigan could not guard Tennessee. They were too slow. They were guarding with their hands and fouling. We were getting past their defenders at will.

Then, about 10 minutes in, we were only up about 5 and we had completely outplayed them. I began to think we may have problems.

Then the refs took over....

Its "March Madness, Baby!" I think scum has a slightly better chance to beat the Azure Satans than they do to beat the Buckeyes in BB or FB. And that's enough to speculate that an 8 might beat a 1 this year. Hmmmmm, what was the line on the Kansas second round game last year?

The most damning - the fact that scUM didn't even make a FT in the game, and only attempted one.

That Tennessee team simply quit. It takes great effort and execution to play good defense and limit your own fouls. Decrease the effort a little and you get lazy defense and pick up fouls as a result. Decrease the effort even more and you get the turd the Tennessee pinched off, where they don't care to even get close enough to foul.

I love seeing EweTee embarrass themselves like that, but part of me is upset that a team like that took a spot away from a team that played their hearts out throughout the season and couldn't make it into the field.

What does that have to do with this game? #15 seeds have beaten #2 seeds before, but taht doesn't mean that every time a #2 plays a #15 you should say that the #15 has a chance just because it's happened before. That's ridiculous. Look at the teams in question -- this scUM team hasn't beaten a top team all year. And it won't happen today either.
