Which is better than the BTN MSU announcer, who couldn't figure out the difference between tiny #4 Edwin Baker, similar sized #24 Caulton Ray, or big #22 Larry Caper.

I watched the game again, just counting non-special teams snaps for freshmen. This is what I found (hard to tell all of Carter's plays, but he had several more than Boren):

26-30 D. Carter
20 Z. Boren
5 A. Homan
1 J. Simon

I'm so glad I didn't set one up for the whole year. :tongue2:

It is hard for me to believe that there is not an "official" Ohio State football website that would not track a statistic such as the number of plays. I would have thought that would have been out there someplace.

Well, the "official" box score had Jonathan Newsome starting at left OT, so I'm not sure people would be OK with using that source. :tongue2:
