On the way to work today, I was doing 70 mph on I-70 and had my doors blown off by a dump truck that proceded to weave in and out of traffic after he passed me.

I live about 1/2 mile from that intersection and those jackasses have no consideration for anything around them.

as for this particular incident, hopefully the driver rots.

It would be pretty difficult for that to happen. He's probably looking at 6 months max.

I can't believe that they published those comments from the truck driver...

From all accounts, this was a tragic accident. I'm sure no one feels worse than the truck driver. Let's await the reconstruction report before we label this guy Freddy Kruger.

First, I don't agree with publishing the drivers name. Second, publishing his statement of "I was doing the speed limit, I didn't see anything I just heard a thump" is the part I find heartless, if it was my family member I would find that to be wrong. It is just my opinion, you don't have to agree I don't really care.

This is just horrible. Quite honestly, I'm surprised more people like this truck driver don't get taken out in the woods for some frontier justice if they only do a couple months in jail. I can't imagine what my reaction would be if this happened to a friend or family member of mine.
I've driven past that school where this happened many times.

Don't let that stop you Bucky, your posts aren't funny, you just think they are clever. Making jokes in tragic situations is low on the hierarchy of humor, right above slap stick and any child can do it. Don't give yourself to much credit.
