Keep in mind that other than 1997 when they won, they have not been a factor in the NC race. They lose an early game they shoudln't, and almost always finish up with 3 losses as mili stated.

That, combined with being owned by ND, OSU, and bowl opponents... and Lloyd's leash is growing shorter. He won't get canned after this year, but I doubt he'll stick around too long.

Man I guess I had kind of bought into the media hype around UM and thinking that it was just the last 2 or 3 yrs since Tress got here that they were struggling but Those records are not very good. Tress already has 2 seasons were he has lost 2 or less games.

scUM won their only MNC since the invention of the forward pass with Carr at the helm. I think that buys you at least a decade of losses to OSU! :tongue2:
actually, scUM won their 1/2 MNC with a ridiculously good defense and an ineligible player who won the Heisman.

i'm glad the coaches gave Nebraska their vote... scUM should be forced to forfeit that entire season...

I HATE M*CH*G*N!, but i kinda like LLLoyd... he's clueless, and Tressel owns him... i hope him and Herman stick around for a LOOOOOOONG time...

:scum4:

Just had to join the rebellion....

LLLoyd will be around as long as he wants. Which is fine by me.

Heck yeah, I want Crybaby Carr to stick around awhile to redeem all of those Cooper losses.

But seriously I don't see it after this year, but next year if he gets swept again by the domers and us the heat will keep getting turned up especially if they are ranked in the top 5 again next year like they always will be.

I expect Michigan to lose at least 4 games this year. Their defense is a joke and Hart will not be 100% for the rest of the season. Carr will have till after the 2007 season to start getting things together.

If Michigan were to miss a bowl this year and OSU win the NC then Carr might be gone. It would be hard to fire a guy that won back to back B10 titles. We have to see how things shake out.

Yea not to bad is it. We kind of like it that way though right? Anyway There was some rumors last year about him being ill and possibly retiring, but I hope the guy is healthy and stays put.

Sad to say...but i think Grady is better than Hart. Their defense is so bad that i think we can walk away with an easy one in AA.

Lloyd will not only coach next year, but he will have the support of Bo and the rest of theadministration and board.

Unlike OSU(hate to say this) the program has not had the off the field issues that the other big name progrmas have had. This goes a long way in AA.

In reality, this is great for Buckeye fans. Tress has his number.

Grady is not as explosive as Hart. Power rush teams will not fair well against us...see Texas. 2.9 YARDS A CARRY against the best OL in the country says alot considering the majority of yards came from their QB. Henne will be running for his life against OSU.

I have always wonderd just how long Llloyd would have been at scUM if it weren't for the hapless John Cooper.

Look at some of those records and adjust it for an OSU win even half the time. All of a sudden he's losing 4-5 times a year while we're winning NC's and quite possibly preventing them from their 1/2 a NC as well.

This is the most public and widespread rumbling of what a lot of us have been saying for years, Carr is medicore at best and only a tragicly inept figure of Coops magnitude got him off to a good start. Now the emperor wears no clothes up in AA.

I tend to agree that Carr's in no real trouble yet. He would have to continue his streak of 3 losses per year for another 5+ (and OSU would have to be 1 of the losses) for him to be in real trouble. There are always "homer" fans who are unhappy about something.

Look at the Buckeye fans bitching and moaning about JT after the Texas game. Obviously, JT isn't going anywhere - we all know that. LC isn't going anywhere either. He puts together a top 10 team with a bunch of out-of-state recruits. I don't care how big of a name Michigan is, it's got to be tough to rely on out-of-state recruiting year in and year out. Then, throw in the fact that there have been very few off the field problems, and that's what really counts. We, of all people, should appreciate the importance of that.

Don't get me wrong, I think Carr is as much of a meat head as Cooper. Look at the dude. He looks like he's been lobotomized. And then there's the whining.....what a baby!!! Trust me, I hope he continues to coach up there, because I have full confidence that JT will own his ass. However, I think he deserves credit for maintaining a high-quality football team and running a clean program.

On a side note, I don't really care to see Michigan drop off in talent. I think we have the optimum situation right now. OSU and Michigan are the top of the best conference in the nation, and JT can outcoach LC any day of the week. It's perfect. I hope Michigan continues to put together 1 or 2 loss seasons - right up until mid/late November, and then they can fall apart.
