Transformers Movie Teaser Trailer

I stand by my initial reaction of already hating it. Tyrese Gibson yelling "Bring it!" in every TV trailer only solidifies my dread of this movie being a very bad, end of the world, humans come out on top, cheese fest. I am also an idiot, that will still go see it at the theatre with my brother and nephew and hope that it actually ends up being a good movie.

Meh. It's cars, tanks, jets, and helicopters turning into robots. I'm not exactly anticipating an emotional, revelatory experience like Shawshank Redemption.

I'm buying the biggest bucket of popcorn they sell and am going to enjoy the fiery explosions, big guns, and eye candy. Nothing more. Nothing less.

My favorite part of the trailer: Starscream's transformation from robot to jet and jet to robot in mid-flight, plus the complete absence of Starscream's incompetent, whiny voice like in the cartoon.

That was sick, I had not seen that clip before. I had seen the transformation of Optimus Prime during the MTV movie awards. It was incredible, that is what really got me on this topic.

That is definitely the best way to look at it. I just want to be entertained by movies, I'm not there to nominate them for academy awards or to have a good cry or learn some valuable lesson. I'm way to shallow for all that nonsense.

Went to the Rave theater last night up at Polaris, and saw the first 45 minutes. At that point, the power went out, and they gave us free passes and kicked us all out. According to the manager, a "blown transformer" across the street caused it.

Very solid flick. Took my 9 year old to see it and there was only 1 scene that I felt uncomfortable with. You'll know it when you see it. As said before it is not going to be this wonderful moving movie that really deserves oscar talk, except the CGI, but it is good. I have a friend that works with Hasbro and he told me a year ago to go see this. Glad I did.
One thing I kept thinking through the whole thing was how much did GM drop down to make all the Autobots their products.
Not to mention the eye candy in this movie is 1derful.
