so long as you go in without any expectations of a coherent story or plot you will likely enjoy this movie.

personally i found the % of sexual innuendo not involving dear megan to be rather disturbing. the cursing is early, often and generally unnecessary. to get the full meaning of that statement keep in mind whose making it. a large part of the humor has a strong larry the cable guy vibe.

with that said, this one is likely a touch better than the first. the fight scenes imo were significantly better in 2. so if you go in hoping for "big [censored]ing robots blowing [censored] up!!!one!1!!" your going to walk out thinking, "yep, got what i paid for".

all in all, pretty decent movie. whether you should see it in theaters will be determined primarily by your desire to see large robots and explosions. megan fox? meh, with the exception of one 10 sec scene that im sure you can google by now you pretty much seen it all on the commercials.

I thought the cursing (mainly the twins) was pretty funny actually. I mean, I dont think it was over done.

However the whole dog thing, yeah... didn't need to happen. But the little decepitcon on Megan's leg was pretty funny too.

I didn't like that much. The plot IMO is just so off base it's hard for me to like it. I feel like this movie coulda been 100X better. Someone please remove Micheal Bay from the next one..please. This movie shoulda been epic, and it was a disspointment to me.

If it would have been an hour and a half action movie with no; toy robots, old robots, conspiracy theory website administrators, terrible dialogue and piss poor acting from every single character, it might have been a good movie. The action was better than the first one. Even if human weapons were all of the sudden effective against Decepticons, and Megatron was suddenly a big pussy. But the rest of this piece of shit was hard to watch.

I did just move the original cartoon series season one to the top of my Netflix queue. :banger:

Agreed on 99% of that, cept same amount of Megan Fox and my theory is Megatron was a pussy becuse he was never really completely recovered. I heard a rumor Michael Bay isnt directing the next one, I sure hopes its true.

Michael Bay can be in charge of special effects for the next one.. give the rest to James Cameron. Pretty sure he wouldn't take it though.

Still haven't seen the second one. :tongue2: Want to.
