Oh, shoes definitely made the difference yesterday. I had some Salomon (sp?) trail shoes and I only fell once while my teammates were continuously slipping and falling. They all had just regular running shoes and there was no traction for them.

Salomon makes some nice trail shoes. I had their boots in Afghanistan and they were nice too. Good choice!

Has anyone tried the new adidas boost yet? I was going to get a pair next week.

And just in case it helps anyone that might read this...
Trail shoes work marvelously for anyone dealing with plantar fasciitis..
by design, trail shows don't bend in the middle... thus doesn't add the strain/stretch that aggravates fasciitis like normal running shoes
