Tough Day for Big Ten top ten

Bucks, meechigan and Iowa take tough loses. What do you guys think happened today? Coencidence? I am positive all three teams are gonna bounce back and have great seasons (Allthough, I'm sure y'all with rather meechigan didn't).

iowa is overrated, ive been saying that all along(thats right i was right once!!!)
they cant replace the talent or experience that they had last year.

michigan will lose 3 games this year, they are horrible on defense, and as shown today, are inconsistent as well.

Agree, UM and Iowa are overrated. We have issues at QB but after 2 weeks I don't know if anyone in the B10 can make us pay for it.

We should be favored in every game the rest of the year untill the Bowl.

Michigan was outcoached, Iowa was flat-out outplayed, and OSU just didn't finish with at least two opportunities to put the game away. Welcome to college football parity 2005 ... where any team can beat any other team on any given Saturday.

The Big-10 took its lumps today, no question about that, but I don't doubt that Michigan, Iowa, and Ohio State are still three of the Top-15 teams in the country. Any differing opinion I think is just blind homer bias.

I don't know....if Michigan's offense is that bad, their D isn't a top unit, either. Time wil tell what that team's really all about.

The conference is deep...we'll get our shot to shut some people up in the bowl season.

All I'm saying is that neither Michigan or Ohio State looked as bad as FSU or Miami, and both of those teams remained in the Top-15. Iowa stuggled with Tate out, but they're still good enough to go 9-2 or 8-3.

it seems like every teams overrated this year, michigan, iowa, oklahoma, FSU, Miami, all have been called overrated already.

ohio state will easily win the remainder of the games this year, convincingly.

Its funny you say that because this morning after the sun did indeed come back up I started to get the same vibe. No one else on our schedule is anywhere near as good as Texas and I feel we got the L out of the way so now all the upset and landmine type stuff is gone, the pressures off. Now we just go out and give everyone we play hell and see what happens. We should be a heavy favorite in the rest of the games we play this year.

Certainly no one else in the conference played anything near the level of contest we did last night (I'm still not sold on ND--let's see how they do in their next few games).

But just to play Devil's advocate...

Iowa is still a solid team, and they will be looking to make a statement against us (bear in mind, though, that we will also be looking for a statement win).

Penn State always plays us tough, and Happy Valley at night won't be easy.

Michigan State has what is looking to be a juggernaut of an offense (but against Kent St and Hawaii--how will they look against a D with a pulse? Not to mention that their D has looked suspect at times)

Minny looks good (but they always do at this point in the season, don't they?)

and while the Weasels haven't exactly lit it up.... the worse they play over the course of the season, the more they'll be fired up to get some redemption against US. Not to mention that the better we play, the more fired up they'll be to stop us.

We don't have a clear path to the championship. We ARE favorably positioned.

Let's just make sure to support out B10 bretheren in handing Purdunk 2-3 losses :)

Sure, the best of the Big 10 didn't look great yesterday (well, Iowa and scUM didn't, we simply got beat by a very good team); however, the conference is still 18-3 overall for a .857 out-of-conference record.

Let's just hope Purdue and/or Michigan State in the next couple of weeks can end the media's orgasm over ND's wins.
