tOSU vs. Wyoming, Mon 11/25 @ 7p ET, BTN

I might be the only person to find this interesting, but you practically never see teams from the MWC (which Wyoming is a part of) going on the road for guarantee games. Maybe with the increased ticket prices OSU felt they could pay some higher guarantees once in a while, and I know Wyoming has at least one former Ohio prep star on their roster. But I seriously doubt OSU would agree to play a road game in Wyoming when I believe OSU hasn't ventured further West than Des Moines and Lawrence, KS for a regular season nonconference game under Matta. I am curious to learn how this game came about because Wyoming is in a conference where you don't see those teams doing guarantee games on the road.

Ohio State (4-0) has traditionally been one of the stingiest defensive teams in the nation, and this season has been no exception. The Buckeyes are allowing an average of 51.5 points and 34.4 percent shooting - two of the best marks in the country.

Unfortunately, they've been putting up similar numbers on offense the last two weeks.

Since beating Morgan State 89-50 in its opener, Ohio State is shooting 39.5 percent - including 21.2 percent from 3-point range.

i want to see marc lovin unleashed a little more...he could be one of the bigger contributors if given the chance...

they were talking about the offense not going through one guy (Thomas) would be a good thing, but they arent really backing it up right now

Allowed 43 points in the first 26 minutes, just 7 the rest of the way -- 2 of which came on a technical foul. The defense really turned it up when they started switching on the high ball screens.

Although I would really love to see Williams go up more strongly with the ball, it's pretty hard to argue with the results thus far. Looking really good. Solid game from Lenzelle Smith, too. Loving continues to be a sparkplug off the bench.

Q.........yeah. He looks disinterested and detached right now.

Larry Nance Jr is a nice player. Super athletic.
