Game Thread tOSU vs. Western M*ch*g*n, Sep 26 2015 @ 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN2

Well, the days of believing media reports that they walk on water have been replaced by days of media reports that they are terrible. Maybe this week they worked a bit harder and the coaches had a bit more focus. I hope daddyphatsacs is right...

If Urban's to be believe then overconfidence doesn't seem to be the issue. If anything it sounded like the offense was pressing a little based on all of the expectations.

Basically the same; however, this map has some of Montana on ESPN2. The "mirror game" is Virginia Tech vs East Carolina.

Just curious: Anybody know what the attraction is in western Montana for that game?

I'm not disagreeing that they're a very good 1-AA team (very recent FBS team playing in a low-level conference)....but they're a 1-AA team/low-level FBS team. Should we not laugh at Michigan for losing to App State since they were a very good 1-AA team?
Yep. Not only did they lose to GSU, they got blasted 43-17...and GSU lost 44-0 to West Virginia in the season opener. Western Michigan's only win was 52-20 against the same shitty FCS Murray State team that lost to Northern Illinois 57-26. I think it's pretty safe to say that the reason why WMU hung tough against Sparty was it was the season opener for both and Sparty was a bit rusty.
