I heard a rumor he's been wearing extra socks. TIFWIW

We saw the same game then Cinci... I've read a few posts saying Cardale sucked etc. I've been without a doubt the biggest voice for JT on this sight the past two weeks but I really liked what Cardale did as it was exactly as I was hoping for to be honest. I was hoping for a turnover free, non bobbled snaps, and quick decisions and that's what we got (outside of the one deep ball INT). I think As this year unfolds and CJ gets more reps he will learn that when its not there to get what he can with his legs and when he does that he'll be difficult to slow down IMO.Saw a different game than most. Cardale throws absolute ropes on sideline passes. Hit a lot of intermediate passes. Didn't try to constantly force the ball - JT did. Cardale did pass up some runs to throw on the run when he could have made more yardage with his legs - maybe that's what you do when you want to impress pro scouts. Yeah he missed - under threw three passes, but he also hit on some long balls - hey he's not Daryl Lamonica yet - also doesn't have a 6'4" high jumper going up for the ball the way he did last year. Defense seemed to me to be determined to stop the pass game and to give up yardage on the run until WMU got close to the red zone. Then they stopped most of everything. Samuel's long run was a thing of beauty. Elliott came close a couple of times - had a nice day. Braxton had a miserable day. All in all, the team, especially to OL looked much improved. Would not be surprised if the Bronco QB ends up in the NFL.
And who was that? It surely wasn't Devin Smith (6'1", and that's being generous).- also doesn't have a 6'4" high jumper going up for the ball the way he did last year.
OK, this year CJ doesn't have a 6'1" 7 foot high jumper who can go up and get the ball...
