can't say I agree with you...some of those conversions were just great plays...and VT's offense didn't cross midfield in the second half until their TD drive midway to the 4th...no, this one was clearly on the offense.

I expected BIG things this year regardless of the inexperience but I am sobered up now and have stopped drinking the cool aid. My reasonings included having no worries about our Oline but again boy was I wrong. We have the skill but right now I see losses to MSU (if we can't move the ball on VT we ain't doing it against MSU), and really the rest of the season got very very interesting. PSU is a worrisome game, as is Maryland (fast defense), and scUM.

I will man up and say I SEVERELY overestimated our offensive line. Given time I think the QB can be dangerous but I tell you what if JT throws any more picks Cardale is going to get his shot.

That 'D' only works against a rookie QB, a weak Oline and an offensive coordinator picking his nose.

I'd love to see the numbers, but I can't remember seeing a defense send 5 + more in any game. I'd wager it was 75% of the downs. And only 2-3 3rd downs did foster not blitz. Although god only knows why not?!? I assume his headset must have malfunctioned.

They sent 3 pressures from the boundary in a row on that last drive because... Why not? Go figure when we get to the other hash, another blitz from the boundary. I know I wasn't the only one screaming it.

It wasn't even good heads up blitzing. Those DB's screamed off the edge with no regard for anything behind them or in front of them other than the QB.

It's mind blowing that Herman can't see that from the box.

Like 98% of the teams that eventually fail to meet their goals...we didn't run the ball. I can't even say we failed at running the ball as much as we just failed to run the ball.

I'm beginning to wonder if the game plan went something like this...

Herman...Okay JT you stand here and wait for defender.

JT... okay coach then what do I do?

Herman...Throw it to Corey Smith.

JT..What if he isn't open?

Herman..Take the sack.
