They already flipped the field position. The numbers say to go for it on 4th and 2 or less after you're beyond your own 45 yard line. That doesn't even consider the fact that Ohio State is one of the most talented teams in the country, and a great rushing team, despite the fact that they don't always show it. And you don't necessarily have to throw it... A quick out or slant is highly effective in that situation.
