Game Thread tOSU vs. Sparty, Sat 11/21, 3:30pm ET, ABC

He ain't wrong, but Zeke putting the coaches on blast in the press is not a good look for him.
Dont like that look for him especially after everything he's done for us in his time at tOSU, but I appreciate him "calling a spade a spade". Sometimes you're just not in the mood to deal out the minutia you're expected to give out.

There's a portion of our fan base who need a scapegoat and "playcalling" is as easy as it gets. That's allegedly the only flaw we had this season. You're not going to penetrate that.

Pretty small portion I think. I'd say that QB technique, decision-making, and confidence was a flaw too. Over the course of a season, with a fairly benign schedule, and most of the horses back, the offense scored about 9-10 fewer points this year than either of the last two despite a much better D than 2013 and a somewhat better D than last year's. OL appears to have regressed horribly, but play calling and QB regression was probably part of that. Also, it's just effing hard to sustain the necessary sense of urgency to repeat, and that's not really anyone's fault, but just the way it is: Some pooh poohed that, but it is what it is.

A top 10 team? Are you joking? They're a top 10 team with arguably the best QB in the country. With their backup QB? MAYBE a top 25 team. I guess you can overlook that minor detail...
:sad::chest::sad:

Edit: I have a glitch that doesn't allow me to delete smiley faces.

Fine. MAYBE they are top 25 without Cook. I'll counter that backup QB or no, when weather helps lessen their biggest weakness (and also the impact that Cook would have had) that yes this still is a top 10 team.

Semantics aside, I still find you're opinion that this Sparty team was a team we should NEVER lose to a little hyperbolic.

Didn't help that they couldn't pick a QB either. If something is "rotten internally", I wonder how much that has to do with it. That kind of thing can divide a locker room, and now that they've lost a game, there will always be what ifs

12. HOW THE HELL DOES ZEKE ONLY GET 12 CARRIES?

Flash back to two years ago, and replace ZEKE with HYDE. Remember that MSU game, and Clemson? Seem to recall that no one could understand how we didn't put the team on Carlos' back and let him carry them then.

Always conjures images, for me, of somebody's beloved grandmother bound and gagged in a basement with an or-else note pinned to her chenille bathrobe. It's mystifying how decisions are made to ignore players of such power.

And, sad to quote a tsun player who will remain nameless, but he said this morning that Zeke had been playcalled out of contention for the Heisman.
For once in his life, he was probably right.
