I have to admit...this team is playing at a much higher level than I ever expected. Especially after the first two weeks...

It's really amazing what the offense looks like with all of its pieces in place and the right captain at the helm. It really is a unit, not a two man army.
I kind if knew we'd be serviceable with JT, but this guy is a legitimate college QB. I just hope the growth of this team doesn't stagnate before Sparty, the B1G Title or the eventual playoff.

This is the smoothest all-around offense I've seen in all my years out of tOSU. While it has been outstanding at times the past two years, JT adds a dimension that Brax hasn't yet in the passing game.

Exactly. He's making better reads, getting through progressions quicker, and when nothing's there he has some pretty nasty check down options.
Oh, and TE's.. MOAR TE love.

The offense looks very impressive, admittedly against very weak teams. Next week, they will see the best defense that they have seen since Virginia Tech and we will see. I think that they will continue to impress.
The defense continues to worry me, although they looked like Ohio State for long stretches in this game. Penn State will give them another chance to work on their basic skills

Not sure how to feel about going to East Lansing with MSU having a bye week before the game. If Ohio State wins that game, then I think the conversation about them is going to change dramatically.

Cinci and KSU defenses are tomato cans, but I think Maryland and the Jersey Jerkoffs are solid middle-of-the-road B1G teams. They'll both go bowling, and tOSU wrecked shop on them.

As bad as that VT loss was, it's the best thing has happened to this team. Since then they've been mauling teams.

Yeah he seems like he might have eyes in the back of his head. I've really been amazed at some of the plays where I think he is going to be sacked by a guy that he can't see..and then he just avoids them or gets rid of the ball.
