I agree entirely. It also had the benefit of taking the pressure off of them. The two bye weeks also helped.

I don't know if it would have taken a loss to get this team gelling, the drop in the polls from a squeaker with VA Tech and the subsequent B1G Hell week might have been the disrespect necessary to light the fire.
