Game Thread tOSU vs. Minnesota, Sat 11/7 @ 8pm ET, ABC

There's only one reason that I would be up before 5am on a Saturday. Good riddance, bye week. You won't be missed.

First, let me say that I hope Cardale has a monster game and throws for 500+ yards against the clock management-impaired Gophers -- or "chimp simple fucktards" as Jax so eloquently put it. With that being said, I just don't understand all this talk of "not looking over the shoulder" this week. How that's possible, I have no idea. The week where you have a guy who just solidified his position as the starting QB waiting in the wings to start the very next Saturday and your backup QB is a two-time Big Ten MVP and Heisman Trophy candidate? I don't see the logic there.

Despite that, I see no reason why Cardale can't have a banner day. This team might have taken Satan himself to the wire last week, but they don't exactly field a Bama quality defense and I expect that they're a bit banged up right now, or should be by the end of the first quarter after battling the second team in a row coming fresh off of a bye week. I anticipate that we should dismantle them quite easily and have an abundance of plunger and sweep-the-leg references to freely toss around as we're polishing off the remainder of our livers due to yet another 8pm kickoff.

Look on the bright side, Gophers, at least you won't have this kind of letdown:
