tOSU vs. Maryland, Thurs 1/29 @ 7pm ET, ESPN/WatchESPN

For all of E!SPN's issues on the gridiron side of commentary and insights...their basketball coverage is pretty top notch. Bilas and Dakich are forward and honest commentators that give a A LOT of insight into the game. Both have a sense of self-awareness about their status and a good sense of humor. The play-by-play guys are pretty good as well.

Of course they still have their celebrity shill (Corso or Holtz and Dickie V), that while they once used to offer much more, now are reduced to roles as cheerleading puppets.

Actually, I surprisingly don't have much of an issue with CBS's basketball coverage either. Obviously Clark Kellogg is one of the brightest in the game, but Greg Anthony and Doug Gottlieb (for being an absolute prick) are knowledgeable as well.

Maybe basketball is an easier game to understand (10 players vs. 22 players to watch)...or basketball players that go into broadcasting are smarter than their football counterparts (not sure on that).
