Game Thread tOSU vs. Kent State, Sept 13th @ 12pm ET, ABC or ESPN2

I'm running with the notion that VaTech sold out on beating us. Just wrapped their whole Spring and Fall around the perfect scheme to counter all of our positives and exploit all of our weaknesses. And it worked, seemed like we were play-calling scared all day on offense and never adjusted.

So they succeeded, but didn't have anything left in the tank, perhaps not even a gameplan, for the following week?

As far as us, this is what happens when our new QB has time to throw. I remain highly worried about our OL against any team with quality DL and LBs.
EDIT: Agreed, they blew everything that had on us and had nothing left. I've seen it a lot. NW last year, Iowa and Purdue in the past.

That team that Ohio State beat today will end up in the bottom half of the MAC. That said, the score could easily have been 94-0 if the first team stayed in. This was a good day against a very over-matched opponent. Two good weeks of practice, a relatively straightforward day on the field, another bye week, and we'll see exactly what we have this year.

This team is sloppy sometimes...nearly through watching the first half and they've had two plays with only 10 men on the field (punt return and defensive play) and one where two #25's were illegally on the field together (kickoff coverage right before the defensive play with 10 men). Isn't the setback coach supposed to handle this?

Yes, I'm being facetious but the above really happened.
