tOSU vs. Illinois, Thurs 1/23 @ 7p ET, ESPN/ESPN2

Right now, I'd guess 9-9 (which would for sure get them into the NCAAs), assuming a split on the toss-ups. That, of course, assumes things get worked out a bit.

Plus a conference tourney win or two (depending on who they played) would help. I do not think they will get left out of the NCAA tournament. 9-9 in the league seems about right to me at this point in time. If they cut down on the turnovers and shoot a little bit better they could get to as high as 11-7.

If we do not win two of those three toss-ups, I do not think that we belong in the tournament.

There are actually four toss-ups there, but I actually think OSU is in even if it just wins 1 of those 4. That would be 8-10 record in conference and 21-10 overall. That's not great, but the Big Ten is regarded as the best conference in basketball, and there's a lot of semi-lousy teams that get in with the expanded field of 68.

I just do not know about being subbed 500 in the conference. Sorry, I did not mean 2 out of 4.
