I was at the game. Fantastic!

Although I was getting very frustrated with Silvester. He rushed and took about 5 shots that he could have worked in an attempt to Dials. Espcecially the pos. right before he made the 3 pointer to win the game. That being said, he played a good game as well as the rest of the team. They shut down Illinois in the 2nd half.

Anyone know who the guy on the bench sporting the "bright" silver suit was?

Sylvester's Trey Topples Top-Ranked Illinois
By Steve Helwagen Managing Editor
Date: Mar 6, 2005

OSU junior Matt Sylvester nailed a three-pointer with 5.1 seconds left to help the Buckeyes upset No. 1-ranked and unbeaten Illinois 65-64 Saturday. Terence Dials had 21 points and Je'Kel Foster (pictured) had 10. Click here for more.

Twenty-nine ... and one.

Top-ranked Illinois came to Ohio State on Sunday with high hopes of completing an unbeaten regular season. But the Buckeyes, ineligible for postseason play, had other ideas.
Matt Sylvester hit a three-pointer with 5.1 seconds left to lift OSU to an improbable 65-64 win over the Illini before a sellout crowd of 19,200 at Value City Arena.
The Buckeyes (19-11, 8-8) battled back from down 12 early in the second half and took their only lead of the game on Sylvester's clutch shot.
Sylvester led OSU with a career-high 25 points. Terence Dials added 21 points and eight rebounds. Je'Kel Foster had 10 points as well.
Dee Brown led the Illini with 13 points, while Roger Powell and Luther Head each had 12.
We will have more on this game as the afternoon wears on.

That's correct. We lost to #1 ILL this year, but before that we had a 4 game winning streak vs. #1, the last one was IU in 93. We are now 7-9 (43.7%) all time vs. #1.

Did anyone catch the halftime report of the UK/FLA game?

They showed a postgame interview with Sylvester and Matta. Apparently Sylvester pulled a Jimmy Chitwood move and told Matta during the TO that he would make the shot.
Kind of ironic because Hoosiers was on TV last night down here in florida. Too bad the WB absolutely butchered a classic.

How much of the post game celebration did they show on T.V. ?

That was a lot of fun, my friend's girlfriend almost got trampled, but she's okay, so it's all good. :)

Oh yeah and I got to shake Gene Smith's hand before the game, that was pretty cool.

GO BUCKS!
