When Cardale's touch is so shaky on slants and outs, yes.

Then play the quarterback that can make passes other than long bombs. Bombs are 50/50 at best.

Not (at all) doing the Zwick/Smith, Germaine/Stanley, etc. thing here -- but I had hoped to see JT start today (for no other reason than to give him time, not at all a slight on Cardale). CJ seems to be showing "short week" signs, I think you have to be careful about when and how you juggle the QBs, but I hope we see JT early today.

I really like Cardale. Great kid with a cannon for an arm.

But we have a record setting Big 10 QB sitting on the sidelines.

I'm all for treating this like a practice and working on a lot of plays, but build a decent lead first. You don't want to go into halftime with it being 10-3.
