Just goes to show how unreal that title was in 2014 was. You usually just can't lose your starting QB and manage to go on a run without them. This is more like what you would expect, a total implosion.
Lost 2 starting QBs really.

Fahey really hasn't been the problem though. The ~30 missed tackles and over 200 yards of yards after contact had a lot more to do with this debacle.

This is now twice tonight where you’re sort of low blowing Luke.

Why?

How many drops does it take? How many busted plays on defense?

Seriously man what did Luke do tonight to not give us a shot?

Urban Meyer and Saban are probably the only two coaches in the last 20 years who could have done something like that

Low blow? I just said 2014 was a miracle and expecting that to happen again is unrealistic when Julian went down. Reality is that if you lose a Heisman contender QB, your chances at a title run are awfully slim. Especially now with the expanded playoffs, and especially with one of the toughest schedules we've ever had. By some miracle of God 2014 happened, but lightning doesn't strike like that twice in a lifetime...especially not with our schedule. Sucks but oh well, always next year.

I do think they need to give TSC a shot now though. Not that I'm giving up on Fahey by any means, he's a frosh on the road in a huge game and maybe TSC doesn't do any better. But TSC will leave if he doesn't get on the field at all and I do think that with the playoffs looking very unlikely (just as much because of our defense as our QB situation), you might as well get him in there now because you don't have to worry about him making mistakes now. He can get his learning under his belt with no pressure on him now.
