Recently? PSU in 17 and 18 were comparable to this.
They came back from down 31 vs Minnesota in 89 and had a couple other great ones in the 80s.
But Day’s teams almost never find themselves down 3 scores, so it’s not like they’ve had many chances to comeback.

Seriously? Why didn’t the defense just copy Wisconsin?

Frankly - if they execute better, I think Smith's focus has been better, certainly better than Hartline's was last year.
He likes going big and getting under center. That fixes a lot of the main issue (going back 5 yards to go forward 1)....the execution has absolutely SUCKED. That's on Smith too by the way. He has to find a way to get that to work. Or Day has to step in and fix it.
I'd be ok with Barrett as OC IF Ohio State had a QB that would play to whatever his strengths as an OC. However, since he's never called plays or coordinated an offense, it would be another coach with a decided learning curve in an unforgiving job.
