Plus the second window that is open the last two weeks of April after most teams have wrapped up Spring ball.

FWIW Mark Titus in his podcast indicates that OSU definitely has a transfer QB, it is being kept under wraps, and it will cause quite a stir.

Also could be BS to create buzz for his podcast.

I tend to think this is true….at the QB position, I think OSU is at a level where they pick rather than recruiting…..I don’t think there was any recruiting when it came to Fields. That was a done deal before Fields announced his decision to transfer.

My biggest question would be if it’s a guy currently in portal, or someone who has not entered yet…..

I think the lack of OSU interest in any QB’s in portal is actually quite telling….feels like they have something up their sleeve.

if they would more than likely be in the portal already I would guess... because outside of CFP (of which 2 guys are gone, 1 guy isn't transferring back in, and one is not leaving) .... why would they not want to get going quickly in the new system?

I tend not to mind the bringing in a backup QB and giving them a shot and bolstering depth but bring in a "big name" QB would likely destroy depth with the possibility of torching recruiting, plus who knows with the locker room..... and honestly.... who's a QB out there folks would want that would possibly leave and make us better?
