I don't know. With B1G money coming in, if they invest in facilities and coaching staff, one or two good seasons and they could quickly become Wisconsin-esq. From there who knows.

I don't think they have enough talent in state to become a national powerhouse. There is great talent there, but there are really only a few high schools that really emphasize football, so the numbers aren't there. It's just not part of the culture like it is on Ohio, Texas, the southeast, and California. (Wife grew up in Central Jersey.)

In state top ten lists are kind of like black diamond ratings on ski slopes. It's all relative.

I was surprised to see MSU gained a hundred yards because it 'seemed' every run went for 1 yard...
IMO they outplayed MSU

Anyone that is even attempting to say I'm implying Rutgers will make it a game can blow it out your ass...

Cow Tippers comin' to NJ. Rutgers is playing an overrated team which almost lost to NIU. Think about that for a minute. A loss to NIU would have paled in comparison to Appy State. A National Champion team losing to the likes of NIU. OMFG! APPY STATE! APPY STATE! APPY STATE!

SAT night tOSU is playing a team which lost in the final minute against two quality opponents. RU could have a 5-1 record. PSU was a blowout due to the fact that Rugers' head Coach wasn't there.

Rutgers took out #2 Louisville 11/11/2005 which put RU on the Golden path to becoming bonifide. SAT night vs TOSU, TOSU gonna get a BEAT DOWN at the BIRTHPLACE OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. And RUTGERS, not tOSU, will OWN all and future bragging rights of the B1G East.

Grab your banjos and your first-cousin as your date, get in your Ford pickup trucks and HEAD ON OVER to a state high with some of the highest Per Capita Incomes in the country. Heck, gas is cheap in NJ to help you on your way home. If your truck makes it that far.

Come to think of it, I've never seen anyone ever make fun of New Jersey for being a shit hole.

You should start an East Coast Elite Club with Penn State about how high class your respective schools are, especially in comparison to the rest of the Big Ten.

I would suggest Maryland could join too, but their fan base doesn't seem that self consciously insecure.
