2026 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Would expect that Day & Co would be on the phone with ALL the WRs, assuring that he'd get the best and the brightest to fill Harline's shoes. Probably not sure who that is yet, but could reasonably assume that with the stable already in the barn, and what's coming in, AND the juggernaut that is the Ohio State Buckeyes, someone with 'moving on up' aspirations would jump on the Buckeye wagon. Wonder if it's gonna be an OC/WR gig, or simply a WR position coach, with Chip lurking in the background w/o somewhere to go on Mondays. Time will tell. Assuming that Chip had the severance package subject to finding another NFL job, would he keep it if he goes to the collegiate ranks? Sorry, at my advanced age, ADHD kinda sets in.....

Generally it's comparable jobs with offset language. Which means ohio state can pay chip 2 mill a year and the Raiders are on the hook for the rest

Henry has not officially signed. Looking like the excitement may have been a bit premature.

Guilford has not signed either

Legend Bey looking like he's gonna flip back to Tennessee, delaying signing until Friday.

The class in the year where Hartline left was always going to potentially take a major beating. This isn't going to be a trend going forward it's just the normal reaction of a major coach leaving.
I mean yes and no. It was always going to happen and always going to happen with him leaving but it won't be the last major coach to leave and the laast time people freak out over it.
