2022 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Bama finishes with the top class again. Clemson, Ohio State and Georgia finish 2,3,4 in some order.
Using current ratings, your projected Ohio State class would have a 247 Composite score of 316.36, with an average per recruit of 94.88. Bama might still beat those numbers (they did in 2021), but I'll be satisfied with that group.

I think we all would. But at this point, I don't think any of us thinks Saban and Bama will not have a top class. And we just have to find a way to beat them even with that collection of talent. I mean, we're not doing too shabby ourselves either

We aren't doing bad considering every 4 year cycle Bama is averaging 9 more recruits than us.

Fully agreed, we're doing actually really good considering what we're up against when the rules are stacked against us! I'm just stating what we basically all know, that recruiting against the SEC, is essentially getting into a fight with one eye closed or one hand tied behind your back.

Ohio State is looking to add another top tailback, and there's certainly a chance the Buckeyes end up signing another pair. Three backs have emerged above the rest for the 2022 class. Brian Kelly and the Irish seem to have their sights set on the very same trio.

I know that most want to focus mainly on the DBs on defense. But I think 2 of our most important targets who rarely get mentioned are Enai White and Caden Curry. Those 2 could keep the elite DL coming in for LJsr, and also helping those DBs. White and Curry following Sawyer and Hall would be freaking huge in keeping up with Bama and Clemson.
